Jane S. Baron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Slippery Rock University. As an intricate part of the SRU Dance program, Jane was chosen to perform at Arizona State University as a part of the American College Dance Association’s National Festival. Throughout Jane’s dance career, she has traveled to numerous parts of the country to perform and improve her technique. Jane has studied under several noted teachers throughout her teen and college years and has taken several tap, modern, and intensive ballet classes in New York City. In Jane’s senior year at SRU, she was chosen “Outstanding Dance Major” and “Outstanding Senior” for Slippery Rock University’s Dance Organization. Jane’s love of teaching began at SRU where she was the director of the Slippery Rock Dance Theatre Group that traveled to various elementary and high schools as well as other community events to promote and educate children about dance and creative movement. It was through this experience that Jane learned the art of “giving back to the community”.

For the past 15 years Jane has taught a diverse array of students ranging in ages 2 to 75 years old. Many of Jane¹s students continued on to college and professional careers performing in various areas such as the Wachovia Center, Busch Gardens, Dorney Park, Disney World, New York City, and Paris.

Jane opened her studio in Limerick in 1998 and has instituted that same learned philosophy of “giving back” while involving her and the studio in numerous non-profit community affairs. From Relay for Life to Dr. Seuss Day in Methacton School District or hosting local Brownie and Girl Scout troops for a “Fun Dance Friday” to Springford High School’s Post Prom Party, her participation in these types of events define her outstanding reputation in the local area. Within the studio, Jane is committed to small class size, a well-rounded class structure, and positive interaction with her students.
