- The goal is for each show to be under 1 hour 45 minutes. Efficient great shows, but in and out.

DRESS REHEARSAL INFORMATION:
- All students must attend dress rehearsal in order to participate in the concert.
Students are needed for spacing and lighting cues.
- Only ONE parent per student will be permitted to attend dress rehearsal.
- Please be at the school in full costume and make-up at least 15 minutes before the rehearsal is scheduled to begin.
- When you arrive, please find your class (designated by signs) in the audience and sit quietly until your class is called backstage. Be prepared to arrive backstage 5 numbers before you dance.
- Each class will be assigned a specific place in the auditorium to sit while waiting. Please remain in the assigned area to make line-ups easier for the backstage crew.
- The rehearsal will start with the finale, in which all students must participate. After the finale, your child is permitted to sit with you in the audience, REHEARSAL ONLY, to watch the concert.
- After your child rehearses they will get their group and individual photos taken and you will meet them in the lobby, then you are permitted to leave (rehearsal only).
- Photos and videos may only be taken at dress rehearsal. This ensures everyone has an unobstructed view of the stage and the children are not distracted during the concert. This rule will be strongly enforced this year so please inform your guests so not to cause a problem.
- No gum, jewelry (including earrings), rub-on tattoos, colored nail polish, or underwear with costumes.
- Names should be written in all costume parts & shoes, dance bags, etc.
- Wipe shoes clean and tuck in all ballet laces, tie jazz & tap shoes in a double knot, and securely tuck in pointe shoe ribbons.
- Please no bangs as it creates shadows on your child’s face. Hair required to be in a bun should be covered with a hairnet. Secure headpieces by crisscrossing lots of bobby pins.
- Please remember blush and lipstick (pink or red), neutral eye shadow (light brown, gray, etc.), mascara, and black eyeliner on older children. The strong stage lights make your child’s face appear “washed out” and expressions hard to see.
CONCERT INFORMATION:
- All students must report to the backstage hallway to sign-in ½ hour before show time.
- Before signing in please be sure your child has gone to the bathroom and has all costume parts & hair securely in place.
- Please be considerate to the performers changing in the dressing rooms and drop off you child and find your seat and enjoy the show!
- Parents are not permitted backstage once the show has begun (this includes intermission). Only parents signed up to be backstage helpers may enter the dressing rooms. See below for sign-up information.
- ALL STUDENTS MUST REMAIN BACKSTAGE IN THE DRESSING ROOMS FOR THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!!!
- Absolutely no cameras or videos will be permitted during the concert. We have the show professionally videoed. Other cameras and flashes will hurt the professional production. This rule will be strongly enforced this year so please inform your guests so not to cause a problem.
- Students will remain backstage with helpers. No student is permitted in the lobby or auditorium in costume after the show has started. They may only watch the concert during dress rehearsal.
- After the finale all students will be dismissed from the stage.
TICKET ORDER GUIDELINES
- Ticket orders may be placed starting Sunday, May 16th- 4 to 8PM @ the Limerick studio. No orders will be accepted before this date & time. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! NO ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 22nd FOR GUARANTEED SEATS.
- Please remember all seating is reserved so make sure all orders are accurate when placed. You will be guaranteed at least 4 tickets until May 22nd - after this date your tickets may be sold to other families. Order as many tickets as you need at the same time and if there is a problem you will be contacted after May 30th.
- Full payment must accompany this order and be separate from tuition.
- All final tuition and costume payments for the year must be paid in order to receive your tickets.
- Orders and payment must be placed in a sealed envelope with your child’s name and class time labeled on the outside.
- Please use separate order forms & envelopes for each show. If your family is scheduled to perform in multiple shows please contact Miss Jane for more specific ticket information (jbarondance@gmail.com).
CONCERT HELPER SIGN-UP:
We definitely need help in the dressing room with your child’s class or as a general helper please see the sign-up sheet in the waiting room. This sheet will be posted in the beginning of June. You do not need to stay the entire show and you will not miss your child perform.
All tuition and costume payments must be paid in full before you will receive you tickets. June tuition is the same as other months as tuition is based on how many weeks in the school year, not by how many weeks in a month. If your family is scheduled to perform in multiple shows please contact Miss Jane for more specific ticket information (info@janebaronsacademyofdance.com).
CONCERT DVD INFORMATION:
Parents are welcome to bring video cameras to the dress rehearsal but not to the concert. Bradley Video Productions will again video the actual concert. DVDS must be pre-ordered. Please keep this payment separate from tuition and tickets. DVD information was located in your packet and extras are at the Limerick studio front lobby. NEW: All DVD’s will be shipped directly to your home.
PICTURE DAY INFORMATION:
Showstopper Photography will be photographing the students at dress rehearsal this year. After your child finishes their dance a class helper will take them to get their group and individual photo in a separate room. You may meet your child in the lobby. Picture information was located in your packet and extras are at the Limerick Studio front lobby Pictures will be mailed directly to your home.
PRACTICE CD:
Students may bring in a CD to record a copy of their song for the concert. Please label with your child’s name and class time in order to receive it back the following class.
